Is it for real?
Yes it is! The Twisted Wedding Planner went on a trip to Divisoria once again last weekend in search for cheap and inexpensive wedding clothes and we saw these -
Wedding Entourage Gowns great for flower girls, bridesmaids, secondary sponsors, maid of honor (barongs for men and kids also available). Price range: PhP400 to PhP1,000.
Bridal Gowns complete with accessories like the veil, cord, pillow for the rings and arrhae. Price range: PhP2,500 and up.
When I helped organize my friend's wedding we went around Divisoria and found this quaint shop. We got her gown and the groom's attire for just PhP5,000 and bought gowns for the entourage at Php550 per set. My friend didn't even need to have the gown altered since it fit her perfectly, but you can also have one customized for you.

ReplyDeleteDivisoria shops actually do the sewing for a lot of designers and it's really up to you to choose the right fabric and nasa pagdadala yan :)

ReplyDelete@Anonymous there are a lot of styles there. You can probably go for an empire cut so that it won't have a waist and will hide your baby bump.
ReplyDeletemay bago ka bang list ng mga wedding shop with complete packages right now gahol na kami sa oras, dahil sa march 2012 na ang kasal namin, at gahol na gahol lalo na sa mga wedding dresses lalo na nasa ibang bansa kami parehas and sobrang mahal ang mga damit pang pakasal lalo na sa bride..
ReplyDelete@Anonymous just go to Divisoria when you are here and then buy all the dresses you need. The prices do not change that much. When I went with my friend before she just bought everything in about 2 hours and didn't even need altering. The dress shops also do not change that much, they are the same.

ReplyDeletezamboanga to manila. grabe ang layo ng pinanggalingan ko just to go divisoria for a purpose to canvass things for our wedding.. lol. kakaloka di ba? Divisoria has everything kasi.. me and my fiancee decided to do our wedding for 1 year preparation so we can plan it well. kaso when it comes to my wedding gown (duh) hindi ako makadecide kung san ba talga ako magpapagawa incuding for the entourage. either here na lng sa Zamboanga it cost 35k just for my gown lng (yay) or jan sa divisoria it cost 18k (my own style). one thing that makes hesitate is pano ko naman ififit ang gown ko? ( i know tradional wedding is very strictly) bawal daw magfit sabi ng mom ko pero para sakin gusto ko ifit ang gown ko just to make sure it is not too loose or sobrang fit sa body ko, syempre laghat ng bride wanted to walk down the isle na confident di ba?
